MemTest86 attempts to retrieve the memory settings configured in the BIOS, for a limited number of supported chipsets. The keyboard now works on systems that fail to emulate IO Port 64/60 correctly. Most systems implement Microsoft Secure Boot, which only allows applications/drivers signed with a Microsoft signature to load properly. Secure Boot is a feature in UEFI that only allows drivers and applications that are signed with an acceptable signature to run on the system. However, is not recommended or supported as USB boot is preferable. While booting from a CD is still technically possible, the CD/DVD ISO Image remains available for download.
